The Belize International Financial Services Commission have released a statutory instrument updating the fees for International Business Companies, effective from 1 July 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following government and filing fees will be increased and applied:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Annual Licence Fee:<\/strong> US$150 for companies with authorised share capital up to US$50.000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amendment of Memorandum and Articles of Association: <\/strong>US$50 upon registration by the Registrar of an amendment to the Memorandum and Articles of a company incorporated under the Act, if the registration is within 30 days immediately following the passing of the resolution authorizing<\/p>\n\n\n\n the amendment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Articles of Continuation: <\/strong>US$500 upon the submission to the Registrar of articles of continuation for a company not incorporated under the Act, the authorized capital of which does not exceed US$50.000. Articles of Continuation:<\/strong> US$1.000 upon the submission to the Registrar of articles of continuation for a company not incorporated under the Act, the authorized capital of which exceeds US$50.000.
The following fees, in addition to the fees specified in the Act, shall be paid to the Registrar:
US$100 upon request for letter of confirmation of a strike off
US$100 upon request for a Certificate of Incumbency
US$25 upon the resignation of a registered agent
US$100 for any other document upon request by the registered agent.
